With the launch of the native iOS mobile app, Square Root extends the benefits of the company’s CoEFFICIENT web application, which delivers actionable data insights to better align organizations, increase transparency, encourage collaboration, and improve store performance for some of the world’s largest and most complex retail and automotive enterprises.
The app leverages mobile functionality and phone features to give district managers the ability to quickly and easily complete key in-store tasks directly on their phones, allowing for more efficient store visit documentation and action planning and ensuring more accurate reporting. Features include the ability to quickly snap photos around the store, take hands-free notes using voice dictation and capture follow-up items, with an easy-to-use, intuitive interface that doesn’t require extensive training. The app then automatically syncs with the CoeFFICIENT web application across desktops, laptops and tablets, allowing for increased visibility and improved communications across the entire organization, from store managers all the way up to the corporate office.

- The on-the-go nature of the job: up to 50% of each work week is spent on the road, preparing for, conducting and reporting on store visits.
- The challenge of piecing together antiquated, disparate tools and devices: When it comes to preparing for, conducting and reporting on store visits, district managers cited switching between paper/printouts, laptops, phones, tablets and desktops, and, without sophisticated software for assistance, still rely on spreadsheets, email and word processing tools.
