(PRWEB) November 09, 2015
Professionals in the fields of loss prevention, safety, retail and IT are converging on Indianapolis this week for the 2015 Goodwill Industries® Loss Prevention and Safety (GILPS) Conference. The event takes place from November 8 to 10 at the Indianapolis Hyatt Regency Hotel. Representatives from the Retail Loss Prevention division of U.S. Security Associates, an Atlanta-based national security company, are traveling to Indianapolis for the event.
The GILPS Conference is the one time each year that U.S. Security Associates and other loss prevention vendors have the opportunity to showcase their products and services to Goodwill staff from different locations. Likewise, for Goodwill professionals, it’s the one time set aside annually to learn from industry leaders exhibiting at the event and to explore newly available business tools and practices. The GILPS Conference is attended by Goodwill staff members at every level, from the organization’s executive leaders to its retail store managers.
Vice President of Loss Prevention Terry Faircloth is among the U.S. Security Associates LP professionals who make the annual trip to the GILPS Conference. Faircloth says he looks forward each year to the opportunity to interact with loss prevention and safety practitioners throughout the Goodwill enterprise. “We make a point of participating in this event every year. From exhibiting to spending time with clients to making new connections, we always find the GILPS Conference to be rewarding and productive.”
U.S. Security Associates provides retail security solutions ranging from uniformed security officers to store greeters to loss prevention associates who apprehend shoplifters. As a party to national security contracts with several of America’s largest retailers and retail property managers, U.S. Security Associates has extensive experience providing personnel safety, business continuity, and asset protection services in retail environments . The GILPS Conference provides a great venue for the company’s Loss Prevention professionals to share insights and expertise on current industry best practices and the latest loss prevention and safety tools.
