Vision, Leadership and Innovation to be Recognized at National Conference in Washington, D.C.

Nominations are being accepted for the 2016 Novogradac Journal of Tax Credits Community Development Individual Achievement Awards. The awards recognize individuals who have substantially advanced community development and the new markets tax credit’s (NMTC’s) policy and legislative priorities. Nominations for the 2016 Individual Achievement Awards will be accepted until Jan. 28, 2016. Winners will be honored in a ceremony at the Novogradac 2016 New Markets Tax Credit Conference, June 2, 2016 in Washington, D.C.

“At a time when NMTC professionals have made so many significant strides toward bringing distressed communities into the economic mainstream it’s an ideal opportunity to nominations for the 2016 Individual Achievement Awards,” said Nicolo Pinoli, conference chairman and partner in Novogradac’s Portland, Ore., office. “The program honors leaders who have put a spotlight on community development priorities through their vision, leadership and innovation.”

Award categories are:

  • Federal Legislator of the Year
  • State Legislator of the Year
  • Public Executive of the Year

Winners receive:

  • One complimentary admission to the conference to receive the award;
  • Coverage in the Novogradac Journal of Tax Credits;
  • Copies of the Novogradac Journal of Tax Credits to share with industry contacts; and
