Following a rigorous selection process, Jim Manzi has been selected for the Intelligence section of the list for his forward-thinking experimental approach to data intelligence.
Jim Manzi co-founded APT in 1999. APT has been awarded multiple patents for innovation in data analytics. Prior to founding APT, he was a Vice President at Oliver Wyman (formerly Mercer Management Consulting), where he spent ten years directing corporate strategy and marketing optimisation assignments across a wide array of industries on five continents. APT’s Test & Learn® software helps organisations optimise the outcome of new business initiatives by systematically testing the idea with a subset of stores, customers or employees before they have been rolled out on a large scale. This allows brands to improve the way they set prices, launch new products, design their stores and market better to their customers. APT’s innovative approach to business decision-making has made waves within the retail and hospitality sectors on a global scale. The “Test and Learn” methodology has been adopted by dozens of the world's largest corporations, including Coca-Cola, McDonald’s, Boots, Costa Coffee, Pizza Hut, ASDA, Argos and Hilton.
