Winston-Salem, NC (PRWEB) November 09, 2015 -- Inmar Inc.’s computer engineers spend their days developing technology and data solutions for the world’s leading brands, retailers and health systems and will spend the evening of November 12 serving those in the community who have computer issues or just want to learn more about them. Inmar is teaming with WinstonNET to offer this service. WinstonNET is a community technology nonprofit with a mission to close the digital divide and serve as a resource for computer access and training.
Seventeen Inmar Technology team gurus will set up a help desk from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at the Fourteenth Street Community Center, 2020 E. 14th Street in Winston-Salem. This highly skilled, knowledgeable team will be available to provide one-on-one assistance to those who have questions or need help with anything from troubleshooting problems with a personal computer or mobile device to learning ways in which technology can help their daily lives.
“Technology impacts most every area of our lives and the ability to use it effectively will increasingly influence quality of life and the opportunities available to us,” says Inmar Chief Technology Officer Greg Kerr. “Our team is passionate about technology and is excited about the opportunity to help others take advantage of all the benefits it can deliver.” He adds that “We will be there to be of service.”
Lynda Golf, Executive Director, WinstonNet, says “We are very excited to partner with Inmar and their “tech gurus” in this community event that will help many area residents with their technology needs who otherwise couldn’t afford it.”
A Chromebook notebook computer will be raffled at the event. No appointment is necessary for assistance during Tech Night. Those interested should stop in from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. as their schedules allow. While the Inmar team hopes to hold additional Tech Nights in the future, no dates have been selected at this time.
