Lease Advisors Continues to Support Soldiers and Veterans during the 2015 Holiday Season
Los Angeles, California (PRWEB) November 10, 2015 -- Lease Advisors is bridging the gap between U.S. military personnel and their families this holiday season. Through the Lease Advisors Community program, the Los Angeles-based lease acquisition firm will continue to provide prepaid calling cards to local veterans and active-duty servicemen and women currently deployed.
Earlier this year, Lease Advisors pledged to donate pre-paid calling cards or cash donations to military installations across the nation. This initiative, announced in partnership with Cell Phones For Soldiers (CPFS), has donated more than 200 prepaid calling cards during the first 90 days of implementation. That equates to more than 12,000 minutes of free international airtime for families currently separated by deployment.
For every cellular and billboard lease acquired by the firm, a donation is made in joint participation with Lease Advisors’ clients to the military installation in the region where the lease is held. These donations are key in enabling active-duty and veteran military personnel to communicate with their loved ones during their time away from home.
“All too often it’s the little things that matter the most that get overlooked,” said Lease Advisors CEO, Jarred Saba. “Something as simple as a phone call with a loved one can make all the difference in the world, and that is why we are proud to have joined in this partnership with CPFS, giving back to the local communities in which we conduct business.”
Cell Phones For Soldiers was created by Robbie and Brittany Bergquist of Norwell, Massachusetts, as a measure to show appreciation to the servicemen and servicewomen who sacrifice family time to secure the freedom and protection of Americans everywhere. Since 2004, CPFS’s Minutes That Matter initiative has provided more than 216 million minutes of free talk time for troops and veterans.
