Myasthenia Gravis Association (MGA) of Kansas City presented Lonnie Kersey, account manager at ARJ Infusion Services, the “Stackhouse Distinguished Service Award”.
This achievement recognizes his outstanding leadership, dedication, and commitment in furthering the cause.
Myasthenia Gravis (MG) is an autoimmune, neuromuscular disorder that affects the communication between nerves and muscles.
On Nov. 6, MGA hosted its 55th Annual Meeting at The University of Kansas Hospital where the award was presented.
“Lonnie has devoted countless hours to our association. He’s involved in support groups, events, and has a true desire to help those affected,” said Danielle Walk, Executive Director of the Myasthenia Gravis Association of Kansas City.
“We couldn’t be prouder of Lonnie and the public awareness he has brought,” said Lisa Sackuvich, President and Owner of ARJ Infusion Services. “His loyalty to this community is inspiring.”
ARJ has been a sponsoring partner for years to help bring education to individuals newly diagnosed. The University of Kansas Hospital and Saint Luke’s Health System provide dedicated treatment clinics in Kansas City for those looking for specialty care.
