2016 iLab/CORES User Group Conference Open for Registration
Boston, MA (PRWEB) November 11, 2015 -- iLab Solutions has been hard at work preparing for the 2016 iLab/CORES User Group Conference. From March 21-23 attendees will gather in Portland, Oregon, as Oregon Health and Science University hosts this year’s gathering. As always, the conference will be open to institution and facility directors and managers who currently or may soon use either the iLab or CORES platforms. This experience will provide a welcoming opportunity for attendees to network with one another while discussing and learning about various tools and strategies of core facility management.
This event is a unique opportunity for managers or directors with any level of experience. With new system updates among the many topics of discussion and instruction, iLab will leave no stone unturned to ensure the most efficient use of its system. Topics on expanding knowledge in core management will include enhancing core facility implementation, benefits to institute-wide deployments, and options for system integrations. Additional sessions will pertain to the range of facility types, including project-based and scheduling-based cores with a focus on building customized forms and schedules to meet individual needs. In addition, user-led sessions will provide informative new perspectives on best practices both within the core itself as well as across all shared resources.
These engaging sessions will occur during the day, with breaks included throughout. Amidst the informational sessions, the conference affords attendees opportunities for networking and socializing, strengthening the connections across the research community. By early evening, the sessions will conclude, giving attendees ample time to enjoy the scenic city of Portland.
