Harnessing the latest gamification ideas — concepts that use game mechanics in areas outside of traditional gaming to motivate specific behaviors and boost engagement — Seven Feathers is preparing to add a wealth of new functionality to existing rewards. Patrons will soon be able to earn rewards by playing games in unexpected places, like at the point of sale or in their emails, and the rewards themselves will be more interactive. As an example, if a guest wins a reward that he or she doesn’t like, the software can allow the guest to swap it out for something else.
Over the coming months the new features will be accessible across mobile devices, on digital signage, and on other channels.
