BEDFORD, NH (PRWEB) November 16, 2015
Today, PistolStar, Inc. is proud to announce the availability of enhanced functionality for Citrix Storefront 2.5 integration through their innovative SideCar functionality. SideCar, a feature of PistolStar, Inc.’s flagship product, PortalGuard®, enhances the login process for remote HTTP servers on which the PortalGuard platform is not already installed. This feature brings ease of use and productivity gains associated with self-service password reset and forgotten username lookup to the Storefront logon form. Sidecar solves the issue of un-enrolled users by prompting them to perform enrollment of challenge answers, phone numbers and more during the logon to Storefront itself. Additionally, SideCar enables end-users to easily launch directly into a self-service password reset and/or account unlock from the Storefront logon form. PortalGuard’s Sidecar integration utilizes web standards to ensure it works across all browser types without requiring any client-side software.
The innovation has proven to be an important tool to many customers today. We are excited to provide the same benefit to the Citrix Storefront. In addition to its enhanced self-service password reset functionality, PortalGuard for Citrix provides multiple two-factor authentication options, including integration with RADIUS.
Launched in 1999, PistolStar has experienced phenomenal growth, attributing its success to an understanding of customers' pain, having the ability to demonstrate a positive return on investment, and differentiating itself from the competition by delivering flexible solutions with full white glove support before, during and after the sale. With the increased migration from collaboration solutions like Lotus Notes & Domino, PistolStar improved its functionality, launching PortalGuard®, the company’s flagship, all-in-one authentication extension in 2009. As migration progressed even further, this extension is now available in the cloud as PortalGuard Nebula.
