Medicalis Appoints Jonathan Darer, MD, as Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Darer is a well-known expert in clinical innovation, quality improvement and value-driven care.

Prior to Geisinger, he held numerous clinical and executive positions with Kaiser Permanente.
Dr. Darer received a BA from Harvard in engineering and his MD from the University of Connecticut Medical School. He completed a residency in internal medicine at the Oregon Health Sciences University (OSHU) and has done a postdoctoral internal medicine fellowship at Johns Hopkins where he also earned an MPH. He is a widely published author throughout the United States including the New England Journal of Medicine and Journal of the American Medical Association.
