Layer 2 Ethernet Encryptors Deliver Proven Security and Maximum Performance for Defense Agencies

SafeNet Assured Technologies, LLC, a U.S. based provider of government high assurance data security solutions, today announced that four of Gemalto’s SafeNet High Speed Encryptors have received the United States Department of Defense Unified Capabilities Approved Products List (UC APL) approval. SafeNet Assured Technologies provides Gemalto’s SafeNet High Speed Encryption product line to the U.S. Federal Government.

SafeNet, Inc. CN6100, CN6040, CN6010 and CN4010 Ethernet Encryptors appear on the list as Fixed Network Elements. SafeNet Assured Technologies worked directly with the Defense Department to usher the products through the rigorous testing process.

The UC APL, maintained by the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), outlines the products that have been certified for use on Department of Defense networks. UC APL certification effectively gives listed products DISA’s seal of approval and signifies the products have completed Interoperability (IO) and Information Assurance (IA) certification. This certification is also meaningful to intelligence and civilian government agencies.

The approved products include:

  •     SafeNet Ethernet Encryptor CN4010
  •     SafeNet Ethernet Encryptor CN6010
  •     SafeNet Ethernet/Fibre Channel Encryptor CN6040
  •     SafeNet Ethernet Encryptor CN6100
