Cody, Wyoming (PRWEB) November 16, 2015
The Buffalo Bill Center of the West in Cody, Wyoming, and popular television and cowboy music personality Dan Miller have announced that starting in summer 2016, Miller and his Cowboy Music Revue are on tap to perform six nights a week in a live dinner show at the Center.
“The Buffalo Bill Center of the West has set a standard of excellence not only in Cody, Wyoming, but throughout the world,” Miller says. “I am very excited and extremely proud of this opportunity to be working with them.”
For the past 11 years, Miller’s group has performed in downtown Cody to more than 110,000 visitors from 65 different foreign countries. USA Today, Cowboys & Indians magazine, and television channels ESPN, RFD-TV, Great American Country, the Travel Channel, and the Outdoor Channel have all featured the Cowboy Music Revue. In total, the band has performed some 1,350 shows together.
“Dan Miller’s show is a perfect fit for us,” adds Bruce Sauers, the Center’s Director of Revenue. “Dan is as committed to an authentic western experience as we are. Having his Music Revue join us here at the Center is yet another way we achieve our mission to ‘inspire, educate, and engage global audiences through an authentic experience with the American West.’”
A familiar face and voice to those who follow rodeo, cowboy music, and the great outdoors, Miller produces and hosts television programming such as Xtreme Bulls on GAC (Great American Country) and the Best of the West on the Outdoor Channel. This year, the PRCA (Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association) awarded Miller its “Excellence in Broadcast Journalism Award.”
With a background in theatre, music, and radio, Wendy Corr plays bass guitar, and sings harmony and lead vocals for Miller’s Revue. Dan’s younger daughter, Hannah, has performed alongside her dad since she was six years old. She plays fiddle and mandolin, and sings in the show.
Always a must-visit stop for the scores of tour buses in the area, Dan Miller’s Cowboy Music Revue takes place every day except Sunday, June 1 through September 30 at the Center. Dinner is served at 5:30 p.m., followed by Miller’s show, 6:30 – 7:30 p.m., leaving time for attendees to take in the Cody Nite Rodeo. (Seating is also available for those who wish to attend the show only.) For more information, contact Sauers, 307-578-4042, or Miller, 307-272-7855.
