Ian brings over six years’ experience working within a wide range of technology and data companies as they have expanded across Europe and the United States. During his time at Money Dashboard, Ian built and led “Money Dashboard Insights” which used alternative data sources to help investment managers understand retail trends including how and where people are shopping.

Ian joins the team as their Chief Customer Officer, to head up the customer success function and oversee the client growth and business expansion alongside Peter Ellen, co-founder and CEO.

Big Data For Humans founded in 2014 in Edinburgh by Peter Ellen and Steven Rose, provides companies with a strategic advantage by delivering automated customer insight, finding out how customers behave and how much they are worth. The company is backed by leading venture capital firms having secured a $1.2m seed funding round in September 2015. On the 25th of November, they host the Rise of the Customer Marketer at WeWork Moorgate London.
