Women in the City Celebration Lunch

Many industry decision-makers attend our annual celebration lunch and this year's keynote speaker, Janvi Patel, will add a different dynamic to the growing variety of business leaders who attend."

Leap into action this week and book a seat, or table of ten, at one of London’s top networking and celebration events, namely the annual Women in the City Celebration Lunch. Held on Friday, 27th November 2015 at Plaisterers’ Hall, the sell-out lunch typically attracts over 350 senior level women and men from a variety of sectors including, legal, financial services, facilities management, recruitment, technology, healthcare, and property.

One of the stand-out aspects of the lunch, aside from the keynote speaker, is the calibre of high-level networking opportunities for busy city professionals. “Whether you are networking to improve career prospects, or building strategic business relationships, or trying to source new leads for your own business, our annual lunch provides the perfect platform to access the right people”, says founder and CEO of Women in the City, Gwen Rhys. She added, “Many industry decision-makers attend our annual lunch and this year’s keynote speaker, Janvi Patel, will add a different dynamic to the growing variety of business leaders who attend.”

Keynote speaker, Janvi Patel, Executive Chairman and Founder of Halebury, is just one of the event’s drawcards. Having broken the mould with the launch and success of Halebury, a firm of over 30 lawyers with a seven figure turnover and clients that include BskyB, BT and HSBC, multi-award winner Janvi will be speaking on raising the numbers of women at senior executive level and how changes to the corporate structure and the value proposition can change the game for women.

Another highlight of the lunch is the announcement of the Woman of Achievement Award Winner for 2015. This year Sacha Romanovitch, CEO of Grant Thornton and previous Woman of Achievement Award Winner (2009), will present the Award to one of the Category Finalists.
