The awards program, produced by NJBIZ, New Jersey’s premier business news publication, was presented by WithumSmith+Brown, PC and sponsored by Aon Risk Solutions, Robert Half, Financial Executives International, Chase Bank, and Cresa NJ.

The CFO of the Year awards program celebrates New Jersey’s financial executives, including controllers, chief financial officers, chief accounting officers, finance directors, business managers, etc., who contribute to the success of New Jersey’s economic growth and stability. The CFO of the Year awards finalists were recognized and the winner in each category was announced during a breakfast awards ceremony on October 9, 2015 at The Palace in Somerset Park in Somerset, NJ. The awards program began with a breakfast buffet and networking amongst the honorees and attendees. The breakfast and networking was followed by welcome remarks and the awards presentation. The honorees were also highlighted in a special supplement to NJBIZ on October 12, 2015.
Finalists and winners were chosen by an independent panel of judges including: Ken R. Drossman, Oak & Apple Partners, LLC; Travis Epp, EisnerAmper LLP; David R. Huber, Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey; and Warren Tranquada, New Jersey Performing Arts Center. The judges evaluated and separated the finalists into six categories: Public Company, Private Company with Revenues over $50MM, Private Company with Revenues up to $50MM, Best Growth Manager, Nonprofit Organization and Healthcare Organization.
