Clearwater Compliance Founder and CEO Bob Chaput’s Announces Appointment to AEHiS Board for Second Year Running
Nashville, TN (PRWEB) November 18, 2015 -- Clearwater Compliance, LLC announces that their Founder and CEO, Bob Chaput, has been appointed to the Association for Executives in Healthcare Information Security (AEHiS) Board for a three-year term.
“I am proud to be honored with this appointment,” said Chaput, “and am looking forward to a continued partnership with AEHiS. Clearwater is very committed to the mission of this organization.”
AEHiS makes this appointment as a result of holding their first election for board members. Appointees are selected based on the value of their work within the industry and by remaining in compliance with the procedures adopted by the organization. The board consists of thought leaders who are focused on empowering chief information security officers and improving the practice of information security as a business risk management issue within the healthcare industry.
As a board member, Chaput will remain as an ex officio board member for an additional year after his term expires, after which he will become eligible to run for another term if interested. His work as a board member will assist the organization in providing education and resources geared towards healthcare security executives, which closely aligns with Clearwater’s commitment to assist organizations with their information security needs. During their upcoming board meeting, AEHiS will be electing a member board chair and vice chair for the 2016-17 term.
Clearwater is a Premier Founding Member of AEHiS and has been a significant contributor in helping them to identify information risk management best practices in support of safe and secure healthcare environments. This is Chaput’s second appointment as an AEHiS board member (last year he was appointed to their advisory board) and solidifies Clearwater’s role in lending support and expertise to this growing network.
