Pearson Announces 2016 Cite Online Learning Conference Program
New York, NY (PRWEB) November 17, 2015 -- Pearson today announced the program for its 2016 Online Learning Conference, Cite, to be held Feb. 9-11 live in Amelia Island, Florida and virtually. The 16th annual conference offers a new K-12 track, expanding the audience of more than 500 attendees to include teachers, principals, and superintendents, online learning program executives, faculty and administrators, and corporate and professional training and development leaders. Live-streaming and on-demand access to virtual tracks will also be available to all attendees for up to six months following the conference.
Attendees can choose from more than 65 interactive sessions in five learning tracks—Innovative Models & Pedagogical Approaches, K-12: Next Generation for Online & Blended Learning, Online Program Management, Professional & Corporate Learning Partnerships, and Student Retention & Engagement—covering the complete online learning continuum. A highlight of the conference will be the announcement of the results of the 2015 Babson Survey Research Group Online Learning Survey of chief academic officers, which is co-sponsored by Pearson and the Online Learning Consortium.

Keynote presentations include dynamic sessions featuring Ann Christensen, Clayton Christensen Institute for Disruptive Innovation; New York Times #1 bestselling author of “GRIT: The New Science of What it Takes to Persevere, Flourish, Succeed,” Paul Stoltz, Ph.D.; and successful serial entrepreneur and CEO of Chicago startup hub 1871, Howard Tullman. Moreover, Cite’s keynote panel, “21st Century Learning Strategies,” will feature a group of experts on the importance of connecting the K-12, higher ed, corporate, and ed-tech ecosystems and aligning education toward the common goal of developing future leaders. Panelists include Peter Stokes, Ph.D., Managing Director, Huron Education; Tom Vander Ark, CEO, Getting Smart; Jaime Fall, Director, UpSkill America; and Sean Gallagher,
