WyzAnt Adds Ivan Moscoso and Mandy Pekin to Management Team in Chicago Office
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) November 17, 2015 -- WyzAnt, the leading online marketplace for private tutors, has expanded its leadership team in Chicago, bringing on two seasoned leaders with extensive experience. The Company has appointed Mandy Pekin, former Vice President of Marketing at GrubHub, as Chief Marketing Officer, and Ivan Moscoso, former Senior Director of Engineering at Groupon, as Vice President of Engineering.
Ivan has 18 years of experience in software development, working in both enterprise and startup environments. Ivan joined Groupon in 2009, and was responsible for hiring and leading teams through an unprecedented period of growth. He served as an engineering lead for company-wide initiatives in North America and internationally. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
Prior to joining WyzAnt, Mandy spent over 18 years working in strategy consulting and brand building for startups and well established companies. She joined GrubHub in 2009, where she built the brand and scaled GrubHub’s marketing team from supporting a small local presence in 5 cities to being the national market leader in over 700 cities. She led the GrubHub team through two acquisitions, a merger and the Initial Public Offering. Mandy holds a Bachelor of Science from Tufts University and an MBA from The Wharton School.
