Sean O’Connor Joins C-SATS as Chief Revenue Officer
Seattle, Washington (PRWEB) November 17, 2015 -- C-SATS announced today that Sean O’Connor has joined the Company as Chief Revenue Officer to lead its strategic partnering and sales efforts.
O’Conner joins the C-SATS executive team where he has primary responsibility for building relationships with institutional healthcare clients by designing solutions that bring unparalleled objectivity, accuracy and efficiency to their surgical credentialing, training and quality improvement programs.
“Sean is an accomplished leader with an enviable track record building substantial technology businesses serving the surgical market”, said C-SATS CEO, Derek Streat. “He understands intimately the needs of healthcare institutions because he has spent the majority of his career delivering solutions that generate increased revenue, higher quality and lower costs. He is precisely the person C-SATS clients want helping their practices.”
Prior to C-SATS, O’Conner spent almost a decade with Intuitive Surgical, the world’s leading robotic surgery company. In his tenure with Intuitive Surgical he held a number of leadership positions both within the Sales and Training organizations. Of note, he served as Vice President, Key Customer Leadership Team, where he designed and implemented tailored partnership approaches with the country’s top Academic Medical Centers and Accountable Care Organizations (ACO’s). His position was created to help align Intuitive Surgical’s complex technology portfolio to a rapidly evolving and dynamic healthcare environment. Sean began his career as an officer in the US Navy where he completed three tours of duty during a time of war.
“Surgical programs are increasingly challenged to utilize new technologies and best practices demanded by healthcare purchasers while increasing quality and managing costs,” said Sean O’Connor. “This creates complexity and potential blind spots that put the institution and the individual surgeon at risk. I am delighted to be a part C-SATS where we provide a validated, data-driven online service to help healthcare organizations ensure their practitioners use great technique, perform well and mitigate these risks.”
