Judges for the First ITIL Global Video Contest have chosen winners from among the many outstanding entries.
First prize was awarded to the entry from Children’s Hospital which featured a young IT manger using her rap skills. Second prize was awarded to KiZAN Technologies and their video which portrayed a fictional company on the rise. Beyond20 took third prize with a video that featured adorable puppets and Cerner Corporation was awarded an honorable mention for an animated video that explained ITIL "in a non-techie way."
"Choosing the winners was extremely challenging," said Omnikron President Robin Borough, one of the contest’s judges. “We had to choose from among a number of incredibly creative and entertaining videos created by information technology professionals from around the globe.”
The Information Technology Infrastructure Library® (ITIL®) is the most widely accepted approach to IT service management in the world. The contest invited ITIL practitioners to create short videos demonstrating how “ITIL Makes Life Better.” The winning videos and additional entries are still on view.
The contest was sponsored by Omnikron, AXELOS, IT Governance, ITSMF, and ServiceNow. Judges include Peter Hepworth from AXELOS, Robin Borough from Omnikron, Alan Calder from IT Governance, Cathy Kirch from itSMF USA and Chris Pope from ServiceNow.
