“The Maker Movement balances the beauty of creating in the digital and the analog, and some predict its impact will be bigger than the Industrial Revolution," said Paige Zeigler, CEO of Creativ.

Named one of the “Hottest Launches Of The Year” in 2015 by min, magazine industry standout Creativ announces the launch of a new web and mobile app experience for their readers. Previously a print-only magazine, today the company will launch for the first time an exclusive digital release of their latest issue. To commemorate this curated digital achievement, the issue will feature never-before-released words from Elizabeth Gilbert (author of “Eat Pray Love”) on trust, curiosity, and the other ‘c’ word (liberating the word creativity). Gilbert discusses her new book "Big Magic: Creative Living Beyond Fear" in the exclusive cover story interview available only through the Creativ app. In collaboration with Gilbert, starting Monday, Creativ will be launching “Creativ x Big Magic,” a week-long event where Creativ will be exclusively sharing highlights from the #BigMagic hashtag that Gilbert hand-picked with love.
“Elizabeth Gilbert and her new book 'Big Magic' epitomize the values of Creativ and The Creativ Movement. Featuring her on the cover of our first-ever digital-only magazine released exclusively through the Creativ Magazine app and to collaborate with her in this launch is a creative dream come true. The impact of spotlighting ‘15 Women Who Wow’ and the magic they’re creating in life makes this a special issue. We wanted to surprise and delight our readers with what’s inside,” said Paige Zeigler, CEO of Creativ.
Driven to become a destination for inspired creative living, Creativ is a new media and e-commerce company that catalyzes creativity through inspirational stories and innovative learning experiences. Believing the world will be a better place if everyone is sharing their unique gifts with the world, Creativ features stories highlighting meaningful experiences they believe will inspire their community to fully pursue and express their creative gifts.
“The Maker Movement balances the beauty of creating in the digital and the analog, and some predict its impact will be bigger than the Industrial Revolution,” said Paige Zeigler, CEO of Creativ. “The Creativ Movement takes this one step further by cultivating a community of creative-minded people sharing and celebrating each other's creativity.”
Creativ is also announcing a new business model for their digital magazine subscription service. The Creativ app is free to download in both the Android and iTunes App Stores. In both stores, a single issue is $3.99, a monthly subscription is $2.99, and an annual subscription is $24.99, which is 30% off the standard single-issue price. Additionally, iTunes has a 6-month subscription option priced at $12.99. New digital issues are released mid-month and customers with recurring subscriptions will receive a push notification when a new issue is released.
Steering Creativ’s current business strategy and direction is newly announced CEO, Paige Zeigler. Zeigler joined Creativ in December of 2014 and led its magazine operations and editorial vision throughout 2015 to be recognized as one of the “Hottest Launches of the Year” by min. She became Creativ’s CEO in November this year and she is looking forward to strengthening the relationship Creativ has with its reader community. “We are honored to pass the torch onto Paige. She embodies the Creativ spirit and is bringing new life to its culture through humility, grace, and contagious visionary energy,” said Blake Brinker, co-founder of Creativ.
