Jared leads HSSK’s efforts in Austin. He has over 16 years of experience assisting clients with the financial and accounting aspects of disputes and investigations, including serving as an expert witness in litigation. He develops and analyzes damage claims, conducts fraud and financial forensics investigations, examines and assesses corporate governance practices and internal controls, and evaluates complex data resulting from allegations of breach of contract, financial misrepresentation, fraud, director and officer misconduct, misuse of corporate funds and breach of fiduciary duty. Clients include law firms, government agencies and corporations spanning the financial services, high-tech, energy, healthcare and telecommunications industries, among others.
Sonia Desai leads the business valuation practice in the Austin office. She has had over 11 years of experience providing legal and corporate clients with exceptional insight into forensic, valuation and accounting-related matters.
