AXI International Launches Next Generation of Mobile Fuel Polishing Systems to Restore Degraded Fuel
Fort Myers, Florida (PRWEB) November 19, 2015 -- AXI International, a global leader in fuel management systems, released their next generation of mobile fuel polishing systems. Designed to easily facilitate the decontamination and restoration of stored fuel, the new system is the most efficient and environmentally conscious mobile fuel polishing unit in the market.
“After years of field research and customer feedback, we took a great system and made it better,” said Jeff Poirier, COO of AXI International. “Rigorous testing and design revisions lead us to a mobile fuel polishing system that is not only lighter and more versatile, but is far more time and resource efficient by streamlining the fuel polishing process while reducing consumables.”
AXI’s MTC-X boasts of a number of new features requested from veteran fuel polishers. Key changes include a smaller, yet rigid, lightweight aluminum frame. Critical pre-filtration and water separation are now contained into one vessel, reducing space and costly spin-on filter costs. A sight glass on the pre-filter provides the user with the ability to monitor the water level within the holding sump, ensuring no harmful free water makes it back into the fuel tank.
The biggest changes engineered into the system are the addition of a filtration bypass mode and an anti-spill/injection feature. Instead of multiple discharge ports, a feature of earlier AXI systems, changing the direction of a diverter valve can activate bypass mode and fine filtration mode. The diverter valve allows the user to perform pre-filtering while changing out the spin-on fine filters, saving valuable time. The anti-spill feature allows for the draining of the filter cartridges, minimalizing fuel loss via spillage. The injection feature allows for the injection of fuel additives directly into the polished fuel.
AXI’s MTC Series of mobile fuel polishing systems remove water, sludge, and sediment that naturally accumulate in diesel fuel tanks, while cleaning fuel tanks and restoring diesel fuel to a clear, bright, and pristine condition. These systems recondition, stabilize, and decontaminate bio-diesel, diesel fuel, light oils, and hydraulic fluids, providing optimal fuel quality at all times for peak engine performance and reliability.
AXI International, an A+ rated company by the Better Business Bureau, designs, engineers, and manufactures pre-configured and custom-built fuel solutions.
