Nexonia Inc, leading provider of web and mobile business financial management solutions, is pleased to announce the appointment of Doug Farrand to the role of Vice-President, Sales. Mr. Farrand joined the Nexonia team in November, 2015, and will work closely with Nexonia’s CEO Neil Wainwright and the executive team to oversee the company’s direct, channel and inside sales functions.

With over 25 years of experience helping software and technology corporations manage their sales and marketing initiatives, Doug Farrand brings his unique insight and perspective to the Nexonia team. Before joining Nexonia, Farrand was a founding executive of IGLOO Software, a Canadian-based company developing modern intranet and business collaboration solutions. A strategic business leader, Farrand drove key partnerships during the early growth years at OpenText, now one of Canada’s largest software companies. He has gone on to be a driving force for positioning enterprise company Xerox as a leader in digital documents and technology, and led the Data Solutions Group at Canadian national telecommunications company, Telus Communications. Before pursuing a career in sales and marketing, Doug studied Civil Engineering at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, where he originally met Nexonia CEO, Neil Wainwright. Their professional relationship spans over 30 years, making Farrand an excellent fit for the VP of Sales role at Nexonia.
