Key West, Florida (PRWEB) November 19, 2015 -- Bon voyage to Engel & Völkers Florida Keys team! Today four of their advisors have embarked on the 2015 Havana Thunder Challenge boat race. This event takes place all week long, November 17th through 21st, 2015.
The 2015 Havana Thunder Challenge is a boat race in favor of a friendship between the people of US and Cuba. The flotilla of motor boats is racing from Key West to Havana, Cuba. Accompanying Broker/Owner, team leader, and boat owner Bob Cardenas are three other Engel & Völkers Florida Keys advisors; Mike Messina who is also Engel & Völkers Florida Keys Regional Manager, Max Cardenas, and Kevin Keeley.
The event includes a boat parade past the Historic Malecon, past the new US Embassy, a boat show, and many other events in Havana. This is the first US sanctioned boating event being held in Cuba since the opening of the US Embassy in Havana. Based on a preliminary event that was held in May, it is expected that this event will have more than 2 billion media mentions globally (The preliminary event had nearly 1.2 billion media mentions.)
