CIAOBELLA has launched its innovative “Made by You” system giving women around the world the power and freedom to design what they want, rather than being dictated to by mass-market brands.

CIAOBELLA is based on the belief that a woman is the only one who knows what she wants – not Marc, Karl, Giorgio or Calvin - and certainly not the salesperson who has been trained to “suggestive sell” whatever is on the shelf.
CIAOBELLA has launched its innovative “Made by You” system on Kickstarter giving women around the world the power and freedom to design what they want, rather than being dictated to by mass-market brands.
CIAOBELLA founder Monique Bodegom aims to end the aggravation and wasted money involved with trying to find that “just right” handbag.
“If a woman decides she needs a green bag with yellow sides and the store only has a yellow bag with green sides, then she ends up frustrated or she buys a bag she doesn’t really love, which ends up in the back of her closet,” said Bodegom. “I knew there had to be a better way, and CIAOBELLA gives the power to women to make their own choices. We also believe women shouldn’t be over-charged for a brand name – now they can customize their own designer bag and not spend more than $85 USD.“
CIAOBELLA custom bag and shoe add-ons attach and detach easily and quickly with “zip and click” technology. Individual sections of the accessories are made as pieces that zip and click, allowing the products to be customized and changed over and over.
A single CIAOBELLA purse comes in a large variety of seasonal shapes (12), sizes and colours (24), allowing for hundreds of thousands of possible combinations. Products are made of Ecopelle, a beautiful and durable polyurethane material, indistinguishable from real leather – all products are efficiently manufactured at small, humanely managed factories and no materials of animal origin are used.
CIAOBELLA is designed with women’s budgets in mind with early bird specials starting at under $40 USD. For more information and to pre-order visit CIAOBELLA on Kickstarter until Dec.3, 2015.
CIAOBELLA was founded in 2013, partnering with investors in August 2014. CEO Monique Bodegom has over 25 years of experience in the sale of fashion and luxury goods, working for the likes of Lancome, Sebastian, Friis&Company, Marlies Dekkers, Pilgrim, Rodrigo Otazu and Axel Accessories. CIAOBELLA has since expanded into a team of highly experienced fashion marketers and investors. CIAOBELLA is looking for the support of the public to help raise funds to start full scale production to launch in February 2016 at the MICAM exhibition in Milan, Italy.
