Charity Beneficiary Gateway of Cancer Research℠ Receives Over $25,000 from Memorial Pro-Am Charity Event
Schaumburg, Ill. (PRWEB) November 19, 2015 -- Gateway for Cancer Research was the charity beneficiary at the Michael Brannan Memorial Pro-Am Charity Event. Brannan was an amateur golf champion and winner of the 2012 NCGA Senior Championship despite being diagnosed with kidney cancer in 2011. Brannan was honored and remembered at the third annual event on November 2, 2015.
Brannan’s family, dear friends and honored guests gathered with Gateway for Cancer Research to celebrate Michael’s life by doing what he loved most, playing golf. Over 60 golfers were in attendance at this third annual event which raised over $25,000 for kidney cancer research but nearly $70,000 cumulatively since its inception.
The Brannan charity supports Gateway for its mission to fund meaningful and breakthrough clinical trials worldwide that help people living with cancer to feel better, live longer and conquer cancer TODAY!
