LULAC National and LULAC Young Adults Council of Illinois To Host ‘College and Career Ready Fair’ #EstamosListos
Stone Park, Illinois (PRWEB) November 18, 2015 -- On Thursday, November 19, 2015, LULAC National and the LULAC Young Adults Council of Illinois will host a College and Career Ready Fair.
The fair will take place from 6:30 P.M. to 8:30 P.M. at the Village of Stone Park located at 1825 N. 32nd Avenue, in Stone Park, IL. At the fair, parents and students will have the opportunity to learn about the college application process, financial aid, and scholarships. In addition, information and resources will be made available regarding the new common core state standards and assessments. The fair is free and open to the public.
WHO: Colleges and universities participating in fair include: Dominican University; Northeastern University/ElCentro; University of Illinois at Chicago; Chicago State University; St. Augustine College; Triton College and Fox College among others.
