EAPA Teams with Chestnut Global Partners Division of Commercial Science to Distribute and Promote Workplace Outcome Suite
Bloomington, IL (PRWEB) November 19, 2015 -- The Chestnut Global Partners (CGP) Division of Commercial Science today announced a partnership with the Employee Assistance Professionals Association (EAPA) to establish the Workplace Outcome Suite as a recommended industry standard for measuring the workplace effectiveness of employee assistance services. The Workplace Outcomes Suite (WOS) is now in use by over 400 EAP organizations, enabling them to scientifically measure the workplace effects of their EAP related services with respect to their impact on absenteeism, presenteeism, work engagement, life satisfaction and workplace distress. EAPA will initiate a promotional/communications campaign to inform members, providers, consultants and employers of the validity of the WOS and its value in providing a standardized and objective measure of performance, as well as serve as a resource and portal for members in need of outcomes related measurement support.
The WOS stands apart from other outcome measures as it is psychometrically tested, validated, workplace-focused, easy to administer and free. The WOS brings EAP in line with the data-driven approaches that are changing the way organizations conduct all phases of their business—from product design to customer service, to marketing and talent acquisition. This approach translates improved productivity into quantifiable results, makes the business case for if or when investing in EAP makes sense.
"The EAP industry emphasis has long been on utilization rather than outcomes, which has been perpetuated by the absence of a universally applied standard to measure the actual value of these programs," said Dr. Dave Sharar, Managing Director of CGP Commercial Science. "We're excited to be working with EAPA in promoting the WOS as a means of holding providers to such a standard, which will benefit purchasers, carriers, and EAP’s looking to provide evidence for the efficacy and value of their services."
