Storyopolis Opens New Art Gallery in Texas Holiday with Milk and Bookies Charity Event
Dallas, TX (PRWEB) November 19, 2015 -- Storyopolis Art kicks off the Holiday season in its new location in Richardson, TX. Storyopolis, originally located in Los Angeles, California, is now in the Big, Bright and Bold state of Texas. Richardson, Texas is described as, “A vibrant and diversified business community strategically located in one of the brightest economic regions in the world”! Storyopolis has received an overwhelming Texas size welcome and is proud to showcase its International and local contemporary artists and illustrators from children’s picture books. In our store and online you can marvel over amazing pieces by Japanese-born American contemporary painter, Kinuko Y. Craft, (who was commissioned by the Dallas Opera to create art pieces), Canadian artist known for his cartoon-style illustrations, Gary Texali, and in our own backyard, Justin Clumpner’s thought provoking symbolic juxtapositions, and the interpretive paintings by Michelle Kaytaz from TCU, to name a few!
Storyopolis Art celebrates the spirit of giving this Thanksgiving with its long time national non-profit partner, Milk and Bookies. Milk and Bookies is a national charitable organization that gets books into the hands of thousands of children who need them, spreading the love of reading and the importance of giving. Storyopolis Art's Matthew Abramowitz hosted the very first Milk + Bookies Book Raiser eleven years ago in his Los Angeles location and is proud to continue the support with a weekend celebrating children's books. Twenty percent of all designated art and book purchases will be donated to Milk and Bookies that includes the amazing work of Dr. Seuss.
During the Month of November thru Dec 24th, 2015 we will be giving 20 percent of all print and serigraph art sales to Milk and Bookies as well as 20 percent on all books sold during the holidays. Please note; if you are not a resident of Texas, you will pay no sales tax. We will also be hosting a weekend of Activities over the Thanksgiving Weekend to celebrate the season of giving.
