It’s an honor to be named one of the Best Places to Work in Baton Rouge. Our success in delighting our homebuyers is deeply rooted in the caliber of our team, said Todd Waguespack, Managing Partner, Level Homes.

Level Homes, a fast-growing, privately-held home builder based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana has been named to Business Report’s 2015 Edition of Best Places to Work in Baton Rouge.

In partnership with the Greater Baton Rouge Society for Human Resource Management and the independent Best Companies Group, Business Report surveyed employees of local businesses and non-profit organizations with at least 15 employees in Louisiana’s nine-parish Capital Region.

A two-part questionnaire covered company policies, practices, demographics and benefits and included 78 statements which employees rated on a five-point agreement scale.

“It’s an incredible honor to be named one of the Best Places to Work in Baton Rouge,” said Todd Waguespack, Managing Partner of Level Homes. “Our success in delighting our homebuyers is deeply rooted in the caliber of our team.”

“Many members of the Level Homes team have been with us for years. Their passion and customer focus – and their unwavering commitment to excellence and to their teammates – has propelled Level Homes very quickly into the ranks of the top builders in the nation.”

Under Waguespack’s leadership, Level Homes was recognized earlier this year by BUILDER Magazine as one of the Top 200 Builders in the United States. With 144 home closings in 2014 and $50 million in revenue, Level Homes ranked 182 on BUILDER’s 2015 list. That represents a substantial gain from 2014, when the fast-growing firm recorded 130 closings and revenues of $37 million to rank 195th.

In naming Level Homes 7th on the list of Best Small-to-Midsize Places to Work in Baton Rouge, Business Report cited the builder’s milestone years of service awards and IEM Noteworthy Performance Award. Employees surveyed also cited Level Homes’ Backwards Birthday Club, Parking Lot Parties, casual dress and quarterly fun events as key elements in building the firm’s award-winning workplace culture.

Founded in 2000, Level Homes builds homes in the Raleigh, North Carolina and Charleston, South Carolina markets in addition to Baton Rouge. The firm is expanding into Lafayette, Louisiana as part of its growth plan, with the goal of becoming a Top 10 builder in market share in each market it serves.

Published 26 times per year, the company’s Annual Best Places to Work Edition is one of the publication’s leading special issues annually. For more information, visit
