Airoom Foundation Funds Expanded Cardiac Care at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) November 23, 2015 -- For nearly 15 years, The Airoom Foundation has been donating to Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago (formerly Children’s Memorial Hospital). For Michael Klein, CEO of Airoom, this has been a personal mission.
“Lurie Children’s has been very important to my family and me. Congenital heart disease runs in my family, and Lurie Children’s has been a resource and a rock throughout my family’s history with the condition,” says Klein.
Recently, through the contributions of The Airoom Foundation and the Klein family, Lurie Children’s named the Klein Family Cardiac and Interventional Imaging Unit in honor of the family’s support.
“The Klein family and The Airoom Foundation have been generous benefactors,” says TJ Johnson, Director of Major Gifts at Lurie Children’s Foundation. “Through their contributions, they have helped to advance the health and well-being of children in Chicago and beyond, particularly children born with congenital heart disease (CHD). The unit highlights their long-standing commitment to cardiac health.”
A leader in the home remodeling industry for the Chicagoland area, Airoom and The Airoom Foundation work to help enhance not only homes but the community’s wellbeing.
In recent years, The Airoom Foundation has donated staff and resources to the Fuller Center for Housing | Hero Project Lake County, the March of Dimes rallies, and other internal initiatives.
“It’s important to consider our role as leaders in the community, and thus community leaders,” says Klein. “Taking an active role in the area in which we all live and work is central to Airoom’s philosophy and truly shows our investment in the community.”
