Swiss Post Solutions’ Leadership Academy is Ranked by Vault as a Top Internship Program
New York, New York (PRWEB) December 01, 2015 -- With the millennial generation significantly impacting the workplace environment, the demand for employers to provide effective internship and employee development programs is increasing at an exponential rate. A recent survey by Vault, the most comprehensive resource for employer, university, and internship program rankings, ratings, and insights, named Swiss Post Solutions (SPS), an innovative leader in business process outsourcing and digitization solutions, as one of the 2016 50 Best Internships.
According to a recent survey by PwC, the millennial generation’s first choice employer benefit is the commitment to personal and professional growth. As the Director of SPS North America’s training and development programs, Dr. Paul Ortega has shaped the SPS Leadership Academy to continually meet the shifting employment culture needs. “At SPS, we understand the changing workplace dynamic, and that SPS’ most valuable resource is our employees. Therefore, we take every opportunity to create and provide meaningful training that is essential for our interns and employees to progress both professionally and personally.”
With its consistent program expansions and industry recognition, SPS is on par with the world’s leading organizations in providing high-level internship and development programs. “To be recognized as one of the top 50 internship programs alongside some of the most world-renowned organizations further emphasizes SPS’ commitment of providing our employees with opportunities for growth,” said Dan Moscatiello, SPS North America CEO.
The SPS Leadership Academy welcomes students from some of the country’s most distinguished universities, colleges, and youth development organizations to provide experiential training and job opportunities that focus on cultivating these qualified interns into high-performing employees. The program provides 12 weeks of hands on experience and weekly workshops related to management, teamwork, productivity, and personal development in the New York City, Washington D.C., Los Angeles, and Chicago metropolitan areas.
The 2016 Vault internship rankings were determined by the reviews of more than 5,800 interns at over 100 different internship programs and rated in five areas: quality of life, compensation and benefits, interview process, career development, and full-time employment prospects. The ratings were then averaged to provide an overall score for each program.
