I hope my book will lead its readers to Christ if they have never asked Him to be their Personal Savior

Within the pages of Sara Louise Wilmott’s new book, Resurrection; and Rescuing God, ($13.99, paperback, 9781498453875) readers will discover a collection of poems and short stories about how the author learned to apply God’s resurrection power to both her life and her adopted daughter’s life (now deceased), as well as to the lives of seriously ill patients she cared for as a registered nurse. Her theme is broadened as she discusses the evil being perpetrated against the State of Israel chiefly by Arabs – because they lost sight, long ago, of their role as the official RESCUERS of GOD. It also shows the evil perpetrated by the Western world that has cared only about free access to the purchase of oil, which drives its economies.
“I hope my book will lead its readers to Christ if they have never asked Him to be their Personal Savior,” states the author. “It is my intent also, that this book informs and enlightens the readers concerning issues facing the State of Israel today.”
Sara Louise Wilmott experienced an idyllic childhood and years spent as a carefree teenager. She felt God’s definite prodding to become a nurse, and later to adopt (albeit unmarried) a child who suffered from a serious congenital heart condition, was of mixed-race background, and born addicted to heroin. Her challenges raising the child would prove to be more than daunting – as this devoted adoptive mother struggled with an antiquated Ontario school system – a system which ensured that her daughter would be forced to leave school having only three grade nine subjects. God directed Sara to share her story in this book. She will later write and publish a book exclusively about her daughter.
