Advertising technology innovator edo Interactive (edo) announced today that in partnership with Visa Europe, it will significantly expand its international presence by launching card-linked marketing offers in Poland.

edo’s patented card-linking technology is used by global financial institutions to deliver instantly redeemable discounts to cardholders, tailored to their spending habits and backed by data-driven insights. Our platform will underpin an innovative new program in Poland, Visa Oferty (“Visa Offers”), enabling nearly 20 million Visa debit and credit cardholders to enroll their Visa cards in order to access cashback rewards from merchants.

Poland’s fast-growing mobile banking market has recorded 100% growth year-on-year since 2012, and the Visa Oferty mobile app, available on Android, iOS and Windows, will allow Visa cardholders to access their card-linked offers on-the-go, as well as on the Visa Oferty website (http://www.visaoferty.pl). The addition of card-linked marketing offers to Visa cards is expected to incentivize payment card usage in Poland, which has a growing rate of card penetration.

In addition to Poland, edo, together with Visa Europe, will expand card-linking further in the United Kingdom with edo’s technology powering the Simply Rewards program for Nationwide Building Society (NBS), the world’s largest building society with over 15 million customers. Under the Simply Rewards scheme, Nationwide Visa cardholders who register on the Simply Rewards website (https://nationwide.visaoffers.eu/) will automatically be eligible to earn cashback on purchases at merchants including Argos, Reebok and Hilton.
