Dr. Talac, formerly of the Mayo Clinic, completed training in orthopedic surgery at University of California, San Diego, CA and fellowship training in spine surgery at Center for Spine Health, Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, OH. He has been practicing in the United States since 1999. Prior to that he was in his home country of The Czech Republic and attended Medical School of Masaryk University in Brno. He completed general surgery training as well as fellowship training in surgical oncology in Europe. Dr. Talac earned a Ph.D. in Biophysics from Masaryk University, Brno, Czech Republic. In addition, he has a diploma in minimally-invasive surgery from University of Louis Pasteur, Strasbourg, France.
