ASAP reaches a new membership high of 60,000 members and continues to grow

The American Society of Administrative Professionals (ASAP) has reached a new membership milestone of 60,000 members and continues to grow. ASAP’s audience and membership is made up of Administrative Professionals and Executive Assistants from North America and all over the world that are dedicated to their professional development and career advancement.

This membership milestone coincides with ASAP’s 10 year celebration of professional online training. With articles, columns, webinars, and certification, ASAP continues to be the premier training community cultivating an online environment of content that appeals to the admin professional.

“Our membership is comprised of professional admins who rely on ASAP as a learning and training resource to meet their professional development needs” said Judy Geller, Executive Director of ASAP. “We are thrilled with the growth and quality of our membership and look forward to offering more content and training in 2016!”

Within the past year ASAP has added to the value members receive with their free membership. Such additions include a new easy-to-use and improved website, a career center, a portal for meeting planners, and the ASAP Eureka! Award. The Eureka Award is an opportunity for members to nominate themselves or a colleague to be recognized for creating and implementing an initiative that has helped their organization in the areas of efficiency and innovation.

In 2016 ASAP will launch a comprehensive, exam-based certification program (PACE), allowing admins to become certified in a timely and cost-effective manner. “Earning their PACE designation through certification will allow them to show their bosses and organizations the depth of their knowledge and value. It can have a huge impact on their salaries and career” according to Ms. Geller.
