Imagination Playground Offering Gift to Schools Who Value Block Play
New York, NY (PRWEB) November 21, 2015 -- Imagination Playground, LLC, http://www.imaginationplayground.com, creators of the breakthrough play space concept that encourages child-directed, unstructured free play, announced a new effort this week to bring support to hundreds of schools that were interested in employing the play power of Imagination Playground with their children, but could not acquire enough funds to do so. This unprecedented offer is a response to that need.
Early in the year, Imagination Playground announced that their 2015 goals were to get 2 million more children, 4 million more parents, and 6 million more teachers playing. To Imagination Playground this means helping children, ages 2 to 9, become more involved in purposeful, child-directed play – and adults to become more aware of and engaged in the developmental benefits of play.
Over the course of this year, Imagination Playground was contacted by 274 schools who wanted to employ the play power of Imagination Playground – but just could not afford a Blue Block set. Last week Dave Krishock, President & CEO of Imagination Playground, decided it was time for his company to do more – to help these schools more.
“The more we studied these 274 schools, the more we realized that some of them just need a little more help to bring the joys of blue block play to their schoolyards and classrooms. These schools represent close to 200,000 children that would benefit…young students that will learn to better communicate, collaborate, problem-solve, and of course, express their creativity by using their imaginations,” Krishock said.
The help will come in the form of Imagination Playground offering an unprecedented discount on its price – as well as advice and help in the areas of school and community fundraising. “Just call us, call me today. We promise to help – nothing is more important than play and getting these Big Blue Blocks in the hands of the children,” Krishock went on to share.
“Since the beginning of this program last week Imagination Playground has been contacted by close to 100 schools and family centers – 40 of them already taking advantage of our gift thus far. This warms our hearts because success in 100 locations gets close to 200,000 more children playing – and there’s nothing better than that,” Krishock continued.
Sarah Howard of Newton Parrish Elementary, shared “Newton Parrish has been watching the Big Blue Blocks for a while now. And with this great offer it has made it possible to bring them to the children of Newton Parrish Elementary.”
Understanding the benefits of creative play, Kellie Kalberer, Royal Oaks Elementary, commented similar sentiments by saying, “We’ve kept our eye on these blocks, and with this special pricing we can finally make it happen – thanks Imagination Playground—the children will love them!”
Even family centers have made the call to bring Imagination Playgrounds to their organization. Diane Ripley of INFINITY Science Center said, “We have been trying to find a way to bring these awesome blocks for over a year and now we can. Thank you for creating such a wonderful play item that will fit perfectly into our Science Center!”
Krishock concluded by saying, “Our commitment to play is ongoing – it’s our company’s mission. This gift of savings to schools and family centers extends through the end of this year. Please let us help you help your children play, grow, and learn.”
