G2 Crowd, the world’s leading business software review platform, today released the Winter 2016 Social Media Suites Grid report to help businesses make the best technology decision. Social Studio and NetBase were named Leaders in the report, receiving strong customer satisfaction scores with a large market presence. Additionally, Sendible, Buzzlogix and Oktopost were named High Performers, earning strong customer satisfaction marks with smaller market presence scores. Sendible earned the highest overall satisfaction score while Social Studio earned the highest overall Market Presence score.
The GridSM leverages customer satisfaction data reported by authenticated users along with vendor market presence determined from social and public data. Based on a combination of these scores, each software solution is categorized as a Leader, High Performer, Contender, or Niche.
Key findings revealed that users were highly satisfied with social media management product features, with social sharing, social engagement and social listening rated the highest at 85 percent, 84 percent and 84 percent, respectively. In contrast, social media analytics tools were rated on a far wider scale, as paid campaign tracking was rated the lowest at 60 percent and performance and reliability was rated the highest at 84 percent.
Additional key findings revealed a lack in mobile ready applications and functionality. Only three products (Sendible, Sprinklr, Spredfast) had mobile applications for iOS and Android. Of note, Spredfast, a Niche platform, was the highest rated platform for iOS and Android.
All Social Media Suite platforms were deployed in the cloud as opposed to on-premise, and nearly every product was implemented and used by an in-house team, with Buzzlogix, Oktopost and SocialBro leading in-house utilization at 100 percent.
