RADLogics Showcases "Virtual Resident" Imaging Analysis Platform at RSNA 2015
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) November 24, 2015 -- At Booth #7771 at the Radiological Society of North America’s (RSNA) annual meeting, RADLogics will showcase its machine-learning image analysis solution for addressing the massive increase in the volume and complexity of medical imaging data. AlphaPoint™ performs like the ideal Virtual Resident™—providing smart, meticulous and fast detection and characterization of findings. Providers upload imaging data to cloud-based AlphaPoint; findings are sent back to the radiologists within minutes of scan completion, enabling them to focus their time on diagnosis. AlphaPoint information flows directly into popular reporting systems, like the Nuance PowerScribe360, and into any PACS.
The AlphaPoint technology is featured at the RSNA Centennial Showcase on the future of radiology, and also available online at: http://centennial.rsna.org/showcase
Lung Cancer Screening App Demonstration:
RADLogics will demonstrate its lung cancer screening App, one part of the company’s Chest CT Scan Module. This demo showcases:
• Accurate detection and characterization of lung nodules in compliance with the ACR’s Lung CT Screening Reporting and Data System (Lung-RADS®) protocol
• Integration with Nuance PowerScribe 360, showing findings (including key images) flowed into the Nuance reporting system
• Integration with the AspenLung patient management system from MRS, ensuring radiologists follow all of the ACR recommended steps for a lung cancer screening program, from assessment through follow up
RADLogics will also preview work-in-progress Apps for AlphaPoint, including its Head/Neck CT Module and Xray Module.
"AlphaPoint saves our radiologists reading time, and improves accuracy,” says Dr Irwin Grossman, medical director of Grossman Imaging Centers, Ventura, CA, who have been using AlphaPoint with the Chest CT Scan Module for the past year. “Using the software also provides an overall increased sense of confidence as if another “pair of eyes” looked at the scan and made sure we didn't miss anything important."
“AlphaPoint enables radiologists to handle a higher volume of patients. It improves the value of their reports by providing quantified measurements and key images,” says Moshe Becker, executive chairman & co-founder of RADLogics. “Our software also eliminates variability across radiologists, providing reliable tracking of changes in patient scans over time.”
The AlphaPoint platform and Chest CT Scan Module are cleared for marketing by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
RADLogics was recently named Aunt Minnie’s “Best New Radiology Vendor” for 2015.
