Introducing Grasslamp, the world’s first desktop lamp that can grow plants using only water and LED light! No soil needed. Grasslamp announced on November 23, 2015 the launch of their crowdfundng campaign via Kickstarter. The company has set out to raise $50,000 to finish production and development of the first, desktop concept lamp, with floor and ceiling lamps, to come.

Grasslamp represents a unique combination of gardening, interior decor and award winning design, and creates an atmosphere of elegance and comfort in any room, public or work space. Grasslamp lets you grow various kinds of microgreens - plants that do not require soil to grow on and is made of fully recyclable plastic and with energy saving LED light.

Marko Vuckovic has always been fascinated by the process of growling plants which led him to become the industrial designer of Grasslamp. “In modern society where 90% of time we spend in an interior space, cut out of nature, Grasslamp represents a Zen corner, our window to the green. Grasslamp is meant for everybody who wants their space to become comfortable and pleasant,” said Grasslamp founder Marko Vuckovic.

A 30 day crowdfunding campaign to fund $50,000 US dollars for the production of Grasslamp has been launched on Kickstarter on November 23, 2015 with a super early bird deal of $99 (including free shipping within the US and Serbia), originally retailing at $399+ shipping.
