3-BioConomy Events in one!

Infocast’s 7th Annual Bio-Based & Sustainable Products Summit returns to San Diego this January 13 – 14, 2016. The event will be co-located with two other BioConomy Events: Safer Consumer Products Briefing 2016 and the Bio-based & Renewable Fuels Forum. The 7th Annual Bio-Based & Sustainable Products Summit will layout commercialization strategies for the entire BioConomy Value Chain so that the industry can reach its full potential.

North America will emerge as the leader of the rapidly evolving global bio-based economy backed by safety and sustainability concerns of fossil fuel feedstocks, volatile prices, long-term supply and carbon emissions. Consumer demands for greener products are driving retail, brand and OEM policies to incorporate safer, bio alternatives to petrochemicals into their supply chains and shelves.

Despite robust government support around the world, the industry still faces significant challenges in moving to full-scale commercialization. Infocast’s 7th Annual Bio-Based & Sustainable Products Summit returns to San Diego to layout commercialization strategies for the whole BioConomy value chain in order for the industry to reach its full potential. Leading consumer brands, OEMs, retailers, policy makers, biochemical, biofuel, bioplastic, petrochemical companies and more will be present at the summit to learn, network, and respond to the growing consumer demand for safer and greener products.

The Summit is sponsored by xF Technologies, TKingsbury LLC, Keller and Heckman LLP, GEA Group, Acme-Hardesty & SwRI, and is supported by Argonne National Laboratory and SOCMA. Speaking organizations include Amyris, AT&T, BASF Venture Capital, Bluefire Renewables, CBiRC, Elevance Renewable Sciences, Flagship Ventures, Flint Hills Resources, Hamilton Clark Sustainable Capital, Malaysian Biotechnology Corporation, MBI, National Research Council Canada, Novamont SpA, NREL, OBIC, Pine Chemicals Association, Raymond James & Associates, Seventh Generation, Sofinnova Partners, Tecton Capital, UNICA, Unilever, USDA, US Renewables Group, Vantagepoint Capital Partners, West Fraser Mills, and more!
