Stevie® Awards for Women in Business last Friday named Pat Mussieux as the winner of the BRONZE Award for Women in Business – Female Entrepreneur of the Year in Canada. Shining a spotlight on women executives, entrepreneurs, and organizations run by women, the Stevie® Awards for Women in Business announced the results of its 2015 competition in New York City. The 2015 awards received entries from 31 nations and territories.
The Stevie Awards for Women in Business is an international competition produced by the creators of the prestigious International Business Awards and American Business Awards. The Stevie is widely considered to be the world’s premier business award.
“I couldn’t be happier or more pleased. My entire team should be congratulated on this most outstanding accomplishment," stated Pat Mussieux, President of Steps2Happiness, Inc. "Only the very best are awarded the distinction of this gold standard for business success."
Pat Mussieux offers business coaching and professional speaking services to hundreds of individuals and organizations looking for wealth and business building programs and presentations. Mussieux, who went from trash bag to global travel in a private plane, reaching the half-million dollar mark in less than 5 years, has supported private clients who have doubled and tripled their business and revenue in that period of time. In addition to hosting sold-out live events each year, Mussieux is also involved in the Global Impact Project (the GIVE MOVEMENT), a not-for-profit serving women in business in Zimbabwe in education, entrepreneurship and equality.
With more than 400 businesswomen and their guests in attendance, the awards were announced at a gala dinner at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. Nations represented at the event include Australia, Bulgaria, Canada, India, Israel, Japan, Lebanon, the Philippines, South Africa, Spain, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, the U.S.A. and Venezuela. The presentations were broadcast live across the U.S.A. via livestream.
More than 1,300 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in more than 90 categories, including Entrepreneur of the Year, Executive of the Year, Company of the Year, Startup of the Year, Women Helping Women, and Women Run Workplace of the Year, among others. Stevie Award winners were selected by more than 160 executives worldwide who participated in the judging process this year.
