United Theological Seminary to Hold Advent Commencement
Dayton, Ohio (PRWEB) November 25, 2015 -- United Theological Seminary will recognize December 2015 graduates at its Advent Commencement on Friday, Dec. 18. The ceremony will take place at 1:30 p.m. at Christian Life Center, 3489 Little York Road, Dayton, OH.
Rev. Dr. Kim Cape will deliver the commencement address to the graduating class of approximately 80 students. Rev. Dr. Cape is General Secretary of the General Board of Higher Education and Ministry (GBHEM), an agency of The United Methodist Church (UMC). Prior to her election to GBHEM in 2011, she served the Southwest Texas Annual Conference of The UMC as Executive Director of New Church Growth and Transformation. In this capacity she worked to help recruit and train new church pastors. She holds a Master of Divinity degree and a Doctor of Ministry degree with Leadership Focus from Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University in Dallas.
