We’re happy to be able to extend our services to the Orlando area and we look forward to helping the community with their skin care needs.

In October, Water's Edge Dermatology opened two new locations in Orange City and Windermere, Florida. The Orange City location opened on October 9, and the Windermere location opened on October 22.

Not only did Water’s Edge Dermatology seek to have a presence in Orange City and Windermere, but they wanted to offer their brand of dermatology services to the people in the Orlando area.

The offices also opened due to growth within the community and an increase in patient demand. Since opening, the new offices have been busy and gaining new patients, and both offer the full range of dermatology services.

The addition of these offices will help people in those communities experience dermatology in the tradition of Water's Edge.

Water’s Edge Dermatology feels that adding offices demonstrates their growth as a company as well as their initiative to provide great dermatology services to patients throughout the state of Florida. Water’s Edge Dermatology is also looking to open more locations in the Orlando area within the next year, and further grow their presence in the area.

Water’s Edge Dermatology's first Orlando-based office opened in Oviedo, FL two years ago. This practice was the first move to begin creating a name for themselves in the locale.

At the two new offices, Water’s Edge Dermatology is offering free cancer screenings that began in November and span until December 31. Water’s Edge Dermatology wanted to offer the screenings as a means of awareness, education, and a way to get to know the community.

Many people have areas of their skin they are concerned about but don't want to see a dermatologist because of the cost. A complimentary screening will allow them to be examined to either ensure that their skin is clear of danger or whether their concern is justified as to needing further examination and treatment.

“We’re happy to be able to extend our services to the Orlando area and we look forward to helping the community with their skin care needs," said Lewis Bergman, practice administrator for Water's Edge Dermatology.
