Ghirardelli Square Celebrates 51st Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony
San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) November 25, 2015 -- Ghirardelli Square, a Bay Area landmark established in 1964, celebrates the 51st Anniversary of its annual Tree Lighting Ceremony sponsored by KRON 4 on Black Friday, November 27th, from 5-9 pm; the actual lighting of the 60 ft. tree occurs at 5:30 pm.
To commemorate 51 years of tradition, KRON 4 Reporter Grant Lodes will join San Francisco Philanthropist and curator behind Helpers House of Couture, Joy Venturini Bianchi to emcee a festive Ghirardelli Square event that includes a visit from Santa, festive children’s activities, snowfall and live music Delphi Freeman and Kevin Toqe & Band. Vom Fass will be serving spiced cider and coffee to keep you warm, and Le Marais Bistro and Bakery will serve baked goods outside of their holiday pop-up location in the Fountain Plaza prior to opening in 2016. San Francisco based women's lifestyle brand, Les Méchantes is offering 20% off the entire store - including sale merchandise - and offering warm apple cider in the Square's Lower Plaza.
