Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) December 01, 2015 -- Ken Harbaugh, Team Rubicon USA’s Chief Operating Officer (COO), will transition to the newly formed role of President and COO of Team Rubicon Global (TRG).
“We are extremely excited to welcome Ken to the Team Rubicon Global team. We are fortunate to have Ken’s direction and keen intuition as we continue to stand up Team Rubicons across the globe.”
Harbaugh is a former Navy pilot and holds a JD from Yale Law School. He served as an Electronic Warfare Mission Commander and taught naval history at The Citadel. Following his Naval service, Harbaugh co-founded The Mission Continues, a nonprofit that empowers veterans to serve in their communities. He worked at McKinsey and Co., and served as Executive Director of ServiceNation. Harbaugh also taught as a guest fellow at Yale University, and has written extensively on the subject of civil-military relations. His work has appeared in The New York Times, the Yale Journal of International Law, The Atlantic, Time, Proceedings, and on NPR.

Over the years, I’ve learned that veterans across the world share a common calling to respond whenever and wherever tragedy strikes. Team Rubicon Global is committed to providing these powerful service opportunities, and I’m proud to help lead its mission,” said Harbaugh.
“Given the potential to scale Team Rubicon’s mission to reach even more communities affected by disasters, Ken’s new role will be a critical step in seamlessly coordinating and expanding Team Rubicon globally,” said Jake Wood, Cofounder and CEO of Team Rubicon USA. “This transition will help to ensure that Team Rubicon’s standards for excellence are maintained across the globe.”
