Curacao is bringing for its third consecutive year an open air rink for ice skating through December 13th. Kids and adults will be able to check their skating legs at no cost.

“Skating brings our community together here at Curacao on the holidays and we enjoy hosting it for everyone”, said Tammy Christensen, Curacao’s Store Manager for Tucson.

Curacao is bringing for its third consecutive year an open air rink for ice skating through December 13th. Kids and adults will be able to check their skating legs at no cost.

The event will take place Monday through Friday from 5-8PM and Saturday and Sundays from 11-7PM at the store located on 3390 South 6th Ave.

The exercise provided by ice skating is very important for the family, it’s an easy sport for the body joints and improves balance and coordination. Local schools are going to be invited by Curacao to bring their children to learn how to skate. “It’s going to be a great opportunity for many nonprofit organizations to bring their kids of after school programs to enjoy a fun way to exercise, said “Ruth Garcia-Corrales, Community Affairs for Curacao.
