Greenberg Traurig’s Jelena Vojinovic Elected to Ladies First Board
(PRWEB) December 01, 2015 -- Jelena Vojinovic, of counsel at the global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, has been elected to the board of directors for Ladies First, “the Mid-Atlantic Women’s Public Finance Forum.” She will serve as co-chair to the Events and Logistics Programming committees, and will be a member of the Website, Membership, and Public Relations committees.
According to its website, Ladies First is a nonprofit professional association for women in the public finance sector. The organization provides educational opportunities for its members as well as a forum for them to network, share ideas, and learn, while empowering women in the public finance industry. Ladies First holds several events for its members throughout the year, where topics in the public finance profession are presented. Ladies First also holds an Annual Public Finance Forum.

Vojinovic, a member of the firm’s Public Finance Practice, focuses her practice on public and private financing transactions, and has acted as bond counsel, underwriters' counsel, and purchaser and credit enhancement counsel in transactions throughout the United States. She is experienced in the area of tax-exempt bond financing for multifamily housing projects, universities, 501(c)(3), public utilities, and municipalities. Vojinovic also has experience in real estate based lending, securitization, and derivative transactions.
